Ancient Paths is a prophetic ministry that serves to equip and train the Body of Christ in the spirit of prophecy. This is done by weekend training events as well as internships that give deeper training on:
- Understanding the purpose of prophecy
- Prophesying from the foundation of love
- Standing in His counsel and hearing His voice
- Asking the right questions of Him
- Shifting perspectives and paradigms to align with the goodness and kindness of God and prophesying from that place
- How to interpret and deliver a word
- How to discern your season, what the Lord is doing in that season and how to respond to Him
- The spirit of wisdom in prophecy
The vision of Ancient Paths is that His Bride (the church) would see Him, behold Him, know Him and love Him with all of their hearts, souls, minds and strength; that they would give up their lives and choose the narrow road. Our hearts desire is to see His faithful Bride fully embrace the covenant and partner with the Holy Spirit to see her come in to mature love.
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the Way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.””
O Zion, You who bring good tidings, Get up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, You who bring good tidings, Lift up your voice with strength, Lift it up, be not afraid; Say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!”
In the old covenant, the ancient paths referred to the law. In the new covenant the ancient paths refer to Jesus. He is THE WAY, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Him. (John 14:6)
The WAY is a journey that is leading us into our inheritance which is fullness in Him that opens the door to eternal life which is knowing the Father and Jesus Christ whom He sent (John 17:3). The WAY is a narrow road as Jesus stated in Matthew 7:14, “…narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” The narrow road calls us to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him (Mark 10:21). This call is a call to LOVE. When we choose to follow Him, it’s a choice to love Him. This choice leads us into agreement with Him and His ways which brings death to our flesh daily but ultimately brings us into life; the place of ABIDING (John 15).
We are all born in Egypt (the world of sin and death) and He calls us out of Egypt through the Wilderness (the place of testing and refining) and into the Promised Land (the place of abiding). Throughout the process, He is declaring His name. The spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus (Revelation 19:10).
In every season the Holy Spirit is intentionally revealing an aspect of God’s nature to each of us and this is how we are changed; by seeing who He is. As we see Him, we become like Him (2 Corinthians 3:18). Out of this revelation, we come into our identity as sons and daughters (Ephesians 1:11) and grow into mature love with a bridal identity as we work in partnership with our bridegrrom Jesus. He is returning for a bride without spot or blemish… and she looks like him!
Prophecy is a gift given to the bride to call her to SEE and BEHOLD which brings transformation into HIS (Jesus’) image.

When we know who we are, we will walk in the fullness of what we are called to do as kings and queens abiding and reigning on the earth.
Within Ancient Paths is Samuel Company, a company of intercessors that have been trained in the prophetic and called by the Lord to spend hours a day first ministering unto Him and from that place, hearing what He is saying about others (our partners) and praying the prayers of His heart for them, then leading them in “His way.”
Stand at the crossroads and see, ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is and walk in it. Then you will find rest for your souls.
